Last

"Unfortunately" this is the last blog, unless I choose to do extra credit which will probably happen. I really liked blogging throughout the semester. I would of enjoyed more interaction between the class by commenting and followed more. I would have proceeded with this but I just found that I have no time everyday to sit down and really look at the blogs. I just got back from balling and I have the biggest blisters on my feet. Right at the like ball part behind the big toes are one huge blister on each foot. I am pretty stoked for summer. I think I just found a job at a warehouse in Raleigh. It pays well and I think I will enjoy it. Only one more paper in English and I am really excited. Tomorrow the rough draft is already due! It is coming and going faster than I can blink my eyes. The school year is almost to and end and I can taste it. Sweet summertime is coming. I can't wait to come down and chill at the beach in the warm weather. Well my work here is done. Have a good one and I will see everyone in English tomorrow.

Easter

Today is one of my favorite holidays. Easter is so much fun I think. I get to go hunt Easter eggs with my family and eat delicious ham. i went back to Raleigh Thursday and just came back about 20 minutes ago. I am ready to get this last month behind us and go back home for summer. Next year I plan on staying down here in Wilmington. I really wanted to stay this summer but it is really hard to get a job down here right now and won't get any easy considering the summer brings so many people. I only have two more tests before exams and I am really excited. I am doing pretty good in most classes and am happy about it. It was hard getting use to school and I think that I adjusted well. I signed up for pretty good classes and got some good times. I think the earliest class I will have is at 11 next semester. The downfall is that I have two labs, one in PE and one in accounting. I have 15 hours for next semester and don't think it will be too difficult (hopefully). Well I have to unpack and get everything back in order for this last month in paradise.

Sunny Monday

I think that my topic for the next paper will be on Myspace. I think that Myspace is pretty dangerous and young people should know what they are doing. I think parents need to kind of look out for Myspace and not keep a close eye on them but to make sure their kids know what is right and what is wrong. I think their should be some way to ban sex offenders from using it or keep them to a limited profile. It is ridiculous for grown men to go out and kidnap girls over a website. Some people are completely stupid and need help. Anway I had a great weekend and am ready to get in the swing of things for another exciting week. I have one test this week and Easter is here. Two days off and I am so stoked. I am going back to Raleigh to see friends that I havent seen since Decemember.

Friday

I am stoked for another weekend in Wilmington. Once the rain drys up it will be a great day. The sun is out and it feel really good outside. I am going camping on Carolina Beach this weekend and I am really looking forward to it. I only have one more class and that is math in 15 minutes. I have a test in there but I don't think it will be that difficult and besides if it is the weekend is still here. The beach is going to be really nice this weekend especially if it stays sunny. I just studied for like two hours and am really looking forward to get this test done with. I am glad I had an early class today because I love getting up earlier and staying up for all day. It feels like I get so much more accomplished. Well I am out guys, hope everyone has a swell weekend.

Week Came to an End.

This was a pretty tough week school wise and I was glad the week came to an end. My and my two friends went up to ECU this weekend to go to our friend's birthday party. She was turning 21 so she threw a huge party and then we went downtown. We started off the night by her friends all throwing her a dinner party and a keg. All the girls brought over an entree and gifts. She opened everything and had a cake. We pregamed a little finishing the keg by 9. After that we went downtown to a club and partied it up. When we came back to the apartments my friend gave this girl a piggyback ride and fell. He broke his arm and we had to take him to the emergency room at four in the morning. Unfortunately I drove him there and had to wait until 9 a.m. when he got out. They fixed him up but it took some time. Being in the hospital is just an unsettling experience I think. I had the best time ever this weekend. I love going to Greenville and chillen.

Hello again guys. Today I will be discussing why UNCW should not get a football team. I don't think that we have enough room on the campus to put a football stadium. I also think that if we do get football team we will have to build another dorm building. The school would have to hire a whole coaching staff and they would have to recruit players to come and join a brand new football team. I don't think that school would have enough money for both a new stadium and a new dormitory. People come to this school expecting to not have a football team so I don't think they would be that interested if we actually did get a football team. This was very difficult to write because I am all for a football team but here was my best effort.

What's the Deally

What's going on guys. Hope everyone is having a good weekend, I know I am. The weekend would be a lot better with a little less homework. I have a full plate in front of me right now and I am trying to get it all done before tonight so I don't have to stay up extra late. I tried to wake up early this morning so I could do my homework but 11:15 is the earliest I could actually get up. UNC won last night if anyone is interested. It was a pretty close game until the end. I really don't know how UNC ended up beating LSU by 14 points. I am going to Blue Water to eat lunch in a little while and am excited. I haven't had good seafood in a hot minute and almost forgot how good it is. I am watching TV right now and am getting really distracted. In my dorm room I don't have a TV so whenever I am at other peoples places it is like a treat. I kind of like not having a TV because I can get a lot more accomplished without having a big distraction. Anyway the day begins and I know it is going to be a long one, everyone have a good one.

Thank God it's Friday. That is all I have to say. I am pretty excited about the weekend, my sister is coming to visit me and there is a huge party tonight. I also am really excited that the NCAA tournament has started. Being a UNC fan and seeing them easily dismantling Radford was very comforting. UNC got a one seed and SHOULD have a cake walk to the final four. I don't see any team in their region that can match up with them. I have a group project in freshman seminar and worked on it yesterday with my group. My group is doing a video on college pressures and how to deal with them. My buddy Alex has a lot of filming equipment and is a very good director. He already had a lot of the video done and it looked great. I am very excited about presenting this project and getting it over with though. We only have two classes left in freshman seminar and I can't wait for this week to end cause I won't have to go anymore.

Paper Topic



I switched my topic to radio vs. TV considering I forgot the prompt earlier and had one that didn't even make sense. Anyway the radio and TV are two similar things in a way but can be very different. I like the radio a lot but you can't see whats going on like on the television. I kind of like the radio better, they always have like a news break after a song or tell you what's going on in the city. The television though has different stations for anything you want to watch. I love listening to music so I prefer the radio but now a days they have a lot of music on television. There is a lot of different stations on the radio and satellite radio was popular for a while. You could listen to comedy, sports, talk, or just listen to music. I like it mostly because I like to paint the picture in my head about what is going on. You could listen to television stations too with the satellite radio. Television on the other hand is visible and a lot easier to understand. Sometimes I can't understand like what is going on on the radio or when I hear a commercial I want to see the product if it sounds enticing. Also, television really is like the radio now because they have all the plain music channels that just have the song title and artist, no pictures. When I am just kicking it at the crib I like to just have noise on so I like the radio. Even though I like the radio better I will admit that the television is better because you can see it obviously. I think I will be able to come up with good comparisons and contrasts out of these two objects. Can't wait to write it! Everyone have a fun spring break.

I don't really think it matters what I write my paper on. I already know the outcome and that is not good. I have never been a good writer and probably will never be. But I guess my paper topic will be on doing for myself. Coming to college has been a great experience so far. I didn't realize how much my parents did for me and how tough it would be living on my own. I mean it isn't THAT hard but it isn't that easy also. The hardest thing I would have to say is going to sleep early in order to wake up for my classes. Luckily we got the last choices on classes and got the earliest times possible. But it is no worries I guess it all comes with being a freshman. Well on the good side of things I am stoked for watching a movie tomorrow. Anyway I am mad tired and am going skiing again this weekend so I am going to catch some z's. Have a good night all.

TV Time Please.

TV Please

For the thirty minutes of TV I watched Zoolander. Zoolander isn't old but it isn't brand new either, it is in the middle. This is a very hysterical movie starring Owen Wilson and Ben Stiller. This is one of my personal favorite movies and it came on television. Both Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson play very popular male models. Stiller's characters name was Derek Zoolander and Wilson's was Hansel. Zoolanded was a male model who was coming to the end of his career and was brainwashed to kill the Prime Minister of Malaysia. Zoolander teams up with Hansel so they can overcome the brainwashing and save the Prime Minister. Hansel is an upcoming new popular male model who at first doesn't like Zoolander but they end up being good friends. I chose to leave it on this movie because it was at night and I was going to sleep. I like falling asleep to movies and find normal television shows kind of boring. I usually flip the channels really fast unless something does catch my eye. I couldn't just watch for thirty minutes, of course I had to watch it all.

Hey guys, it has been a couple hours but I'm back. I am chilling right now listening to all types of music. I don't have one favorite song because it is way too hard to choose. I have a couple different favorite songs of every genre. One great song is by Sublime called "Garden Grove," it just gets me in a good mood every time I hear it. You guys have to listen to this song, it is a feel good song. For some reason I really like the song "Single Ladies" by Beyonce. It is so overplayed I know it just gets me in a feel good mood. I love listening to music because no matter what kind of mood you are in there is always a song for it. It expresses normal everyday people through rhythm and tune. Also, I am a big Lil' Wayne fan. He makes new songs just about everyday and basically raps about right now and the world. I don't know if anyone has heard them but the Jay-Z and Coldplay remixes are really good. Usually the songs consist of the Coldplay beats and some singing with Jay-Z rapping.

What's up guys? I don't know if anyone really reads my blogs but it's all good. I love watching the Food Network. I watch it everyday without fail. The other day a couple friends and myself were chilling watching the Food Network of course and decided to go to Wallmart and all make a creation of our own. This idea was great, we made tacos, pasta, ice cream with cinnamon toast, and other snacks. I think Kid Cudi is sick! His music is so good and I think everyone should listen to him. I love just relaxing in my room listening to music. I bought some pretty sweet speakers and I am really glad I did purchase them. I got five speakers and a very nice sub. Sometimes I think I make people on the hall mad because my sub thumps too hard but then again I could care less. This is random but I love when wag has fortune cookies out. Hopefully I don't jinx myself but I have been getting pretty good ones lately. I have a bit of catch up to do because I forgot to do a blog last week unfortunately. Also I have a damn four page paper in history due on Monday. I really am dreading doing it but I'll have to do it and that's all I have to say about that. Well din din is calling my name so I will see everyone Wednesday.

This Weeks Happenings

Well my English paper sucks and I have mad work to do this weekend. But I don't really care because it feels great outside and the beach is about 5 minutes away. I just won't let any stress get to me because if I do then all I will always be worried. I'll just hold my head high and get done what I have to get done. So I'll put on the jams crank out the work and be done with it, but that won't be til Sunday ha ha. I like waiting til the last day to do my work always, I think it is impossible to motivate myself to do it early. After my last class at 1, which I have a quiz in, I think I am going to the beach. It is just such a nice day to let go to waste. I am trying to study right now but my hunger is getting the best of me. I think I will do just fine on the quiz but I say that now... Anyway I haven't wrote a personal blog in about a week I guess so I forgot about what to write and all. No worries though I seem to be trucking through this. I moved rooms this past week. I moved downstairs in the same dorm. My friend from Raleigh's roommate moved out so I took that opportunity. I am enjoying it more than my last room. I didn't like the setup in my last room and my old roommate and I didn't exactly have the same interests. I think I am about to Wag right now because my tummy is telling me to. Bravo to anyone brave enough to read the story of my life. Later yall

I went to Discovery.com and looked up cool articles. I was just browsing when I found an article on Antarctica. They have huge satellites that can take more detailed pictures today. We basically know all about the big white continent without even going there. It is kind of an amazing thing how much technology we have discovered and created. I really am amazed at society and how we can do so much. We have really evolved into a a great dominant species. Sorry for that sidetrack it just had to be said. Anyway they have such intense satellites it can tell us the height or depth for anything. They can take pictures of everyday life there, like you were actually there. It describes everything so natural and pure. You can see the pictures you can go to the NASA Observatory.

It has been a very stressful week and I will be glad to get it over with tomorrow. I am chillen right now at my friends place and I am feeling great. I don't really want to go to class tomorrow but I guess it will be good for me. Hey, maybe I'll learn something tomorrow I mean it is college. hahaha.

Some words that I use a lot are what, straut, later, and sick. I had to ask my friends about what I say because I really don't think about it too much. I know for sure that every time I end a conversion on the phone I always say "later." I don't know why I say later but I like it a lot more than good-bye. I know it sounds weird but I like sticking to one good-bye and that's "later." Another word I overuse is "what?" The only explanation I have is when I see something stupid or just ridiculously cool then I say "WHAT" to see if anyone else saw what I just saw. Also I say "straut" a lot. It is my variation of "straight." I like saying that word and I use it a lot. Instead of saying "that's cool" or "awesome" I say straut. Sick in my vocabulary means a lot of things. It could mean like actual sickness, really cool, if someone is good at something. I like saying the word sick because it is fun to say.

Hello again friends,

I have had a very busy and hectic week. School has gotten more tougher as the tests are getting closer and closer. I have been looking forward to come back to Raleigh all weekend. I got in last night and got to hang out with my friends. I have had a great time since I've been back and I still have two whole days. UNC plays against NCSU today in Raleigh and I've got tickets! I actually am in a hurry to write this so I can be on my way to the game. I love this rivalry and my team (UNC) usually always comes out on top. My dad went to UNC so we are diehard fans. There is really good games on right now. I love watching good college basketball. The ACC is stacked with good teams and great players. Also, I love watching the Bobcats even though they aren't great. I am big on the local sports and will always be following the North Carolina teams. I love being back here haning out with my friends that I've known for so long. I feel home and it feels great. I went to a UNCW game the other night. We lost at the buzzer but it was a great game. Not many students go to the games but I thought it was a very good time. I have my Raymond Felton jersey on and am about to leave. I am so stoked for the game.

This was an easy short read. It was very descriptive and lively. I could see the picture being painted as I read this story. It sucks for this guy because his grandmother died when he was young. It was cool how his grandmother was an Indian and so in touch with herself. She had to go through some tough times that made her who she was. I thought she told a pretty cool story about how te Big Dipper came along. I did like how this story was so descriptive again though. I am sure glad it was a short read though. Anyway I'll see everybody in class tomorrow!

I Love College

I Love College

It is as simple as that. So far I am enjoying myself very much. This weekend was awesome and I am stoked for the weekend that is approaching. Last week I think I had a little too much fun on account of I missed English class. I really do like the class its just I went to sleep at 4 in the morning' so it was impossible to wake up for. I am watching the new Kat Williams stand up comedy "pimpin pimpin." Kat Williams is one of the funniest comedians I've ever heard.

As for the Assignment

Yes I do think that the government does have say in whether the page goes down. I believe if the government does not agree with some things then the major web pages go down or not. The first amendment specifically states that we have a freedom of speech. Yet when 9/11 happened Bush "changed" the amendment so people could not show certain youtube videos on the planes hitting the twin towers. He If he can change that then I am sure he can get a web page down.

Well it's 9:20 and thank goodness my geology teacher canceled class. At least someone here has some sense. Everyone in the state of North Carolina has today off except UNCW! I had to wake up at 7 just to check and see if classes were canceled and with my luck they weren't. Hopefully my freshman seminar class will be canceled too but I really do doubt that. On the good side of things I just found some pretty good songs on youtube. I have to catch up on all of my homework today (sigh). I had a pretty good 3 day weekend though. I had a lot of fun with no hassels or anyone nagging me about anything. Oh and did I mention the Eagles lost. tear. Poor calls towards the end of the game doesn't help. Kevin Curtis get tackled before the ball is thrown to him and no pass interference, pathetic. I don't want to get started on that game though, sore topic.

Not saying it isn't a big deal but people really are taking this Inauguration way too far. Ya it's cool Barack won if you voted for him but if you didn't you are tired of hearing about it. All the news talks about is "oh what kind of dog will Obama get!" Who cares. Pointless media showing its true colors as usual. I bet he won't even get a cool dog. Just some little stupid shaggy dog. And by the way Obama says the tax cuts won't start until his next term. People voted for his "tax cuts" well sorry but you aren't getting them.

College Life

I have one dollar to my name. I can't wait to spend it! I wonder what I can get with ONE WHOLE DOLLAR now. Or I could make oragamy like this cool fish. It is finally SNOWING! Wow things are looking up. I am so stoked right now. Hopefully UNCW will wise up and cancel classes now.

Who's Thirsty? I am!

This has been a pretty productive week for me. I am just about settled in and got my schedule down. Oh ya and it's Thirsty Thursday which I'm pretty stoked for. I love chillen in the common room of my dorm. I think it is cool to just see everyone come and go all doing there own thing. Also I love using the elevator. I love stopping on different floors and seeing the different atmospheres. Ok so it's 12:30 and I just got back from a party. I love going out on weeknights with no parents to tell me what to do. I just met my neighbor Rhett and he is really cool. We are definitely chilling every night. I am really excited for tomorrow. Fridays are the best days because we have the weekend to look forward to.

I love playing soccer. When I get stressed out i play. Soccer is a passionate and very emotional game. My family is from England so I am very into "football." I love watching soccer to, seeing a goal is one of the greatest things I've ever seen.

Rude Awakening

I hate freshman seminar. My teacher just gave us a pop quiz on pointless material. I got a ZERO but I don't really care. I wish add/drop classes were still open but apparently they aren't. Talk about stress zzzzzz.

I Can't Wait

There are so many things I can't wait for: tomorrow being Friday, getting a career, going to sleep tonight, and watching the Eagles win the Super Bowl in a couple weeks.

What's Philly Good?

The Best

The Philadelphia Eagles. It's as simple as that. The Eagles are the best team in the National Football League. Brian Westbrook and Brian Dawkins are by far the best players. Brian Westbrook plays every game like it is his last. Westbrook had broken ribs and a bummed ankle in a couple of games this year and that did not stop him from playing. How can you not like the guy? And Brian Dawkins? Are you kidding me, he is the toughest most hard nosed player in the NFL. He doesn't back down to anyone and is fun to watch. I am really excited about the playoffs this year. There is absolutely no chance for the Arizona Cardinals to beat the red hot Eagles. After coming off this win against the Giants they have both the swagger and confidence to carry them right into the Super Bowl. I have some family that lives in the suburbs of Philadelphia and it is nice to visit there. Philadelphia is a great sports town and city.

Friendly

I just came to UNCW last week and everyone here is so friendly. The first day I moved in just about everyone on my floor came in my room and introduced themselves which was very cool. Everywhere I go on campus everyone is willing to help me if I have troubles. Whenever I see someone I know walking around they will always go out of their way to say hey. I think I am going to enjoy my time a lot here and glad I chose UNCW.


Hate-Love

I am so chillen right now. I love Tuesdays because I only two classes spread out a couple hours. I love all this free time because I get everything done in the day as opposed to late at night. Although there is some downfall to this schedule. When I get my errands done I hate going back out for one more class. Especially when its raining outside and cold. There are some things in life you just have to deal with.
